Happy Anniversary to Me

One year ago today I moved to Israel. I can't believe it's been so long - seemingly so short. Usually I live in a city for a year, the honeymoon ends, and I'm quickly thinking of the next place to be. For the first time in my life I'm not having those thoughts. Puts a smile on my face.

YO! let's totally grab drinks when you're in town! I can't afford tickets to your concert (spending far too much $$$ at Barneys these days) but we should meet out after! Let me know when... :)

I'm with you on that. I recently realized that I've lived in 12 apartments/houses in 8 towns (in 3 US states + Israel) in the last 10 years, and it feels odd that I'm not moving now... but it also feels great. This is the strangest place I've ever lived, but among all the whack jobs there are good people, and I'm feeling the community. Come home soon! J'lem misses y'all!

Shalom, y'all.
